Orthopedic Physical Therapy

General Information

Orthopedic physical therapy treats disorders of the musculoskeletal system and also rehabilitates patients after surgery. Muscles, bones, ligaments or tendons may be affected.

Common orthopedic disorders include:

  1. Arthritis
  2. Fractures
  3. Sports injuries
  4. Tendonitis/Bursitis
  5. Back and Neck Pain
  6. Ankle Sprains
  7. Sciatica
  8. Scoliosis
  9. Tennis Elbow
  10. Shoulder Injuries

After a thorough evaluation your physical therapist will design a program to help you decrease pain, improve range of motion, increase strength and return you to your former activity level. Frequently used treatment techniques are strengthening exercises, stretching, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, massage, joint mobilizations and electrical stimulation. At Advantage PT we specialize in treating orthopedic conditions.
